Ladies ladies ladies, its that amazing time of the year, SPRING CARNIVAL!
This time I chose to attend the Emirates Melbourne Cup. With University classes still going for me it was extremely difficult to fit in time to go too any of the races but thankfully I was free for the main event and I'm so happy I went. It turned out to be lovely weather and I had an amazing time with my girls. For anyone that has been to the races before, you would be well aware that there are traditions to adhere to. Some of these would be Derby Day is black and white, Oaks Day is Ladies Day and the main rule, no felt in Spring and no straw in Winter. Since it is Spring, a straw hat was a must. The wide brimmed, extremely floppy white hat I chose to wear was a bargain from Ally in which I added my own flower design to the side to match my dress. I paired these gorgeous white heals from Wittner to keep everything fresh, with this amazing Mossman dress the centre of attention.
