November Bellabox Review

I honestly couldn't decide whether or not to put a review up on the November Bellabox since I haven't exactly made it a month to month thing but looking at my past reviews, they seem to be quite popular, so here it is...
Heading into Summer here in Australia it made sense for Bellabox to provide us with items that would be of use in the coming up months, hence the theme 'Refreshing Beauty'. I was actually quite excited to open up the box this month as they have re-branded and changed the appearance quite significantly. Gone are the old, chunky cardboard boxes and in are new, sleek, bright cases. I honestly prefer them because I was starting to accumulate quite a large collection of boxes that I couldn't find uses for!

The first item I saw was the new Bellabox Pout Pencils. These are designed and made by Bellabox and honestly I'm in loveeee! They are so creamy and pigmented they just glide onto the lips, so effortless! I got the colour Ruby Tuesday (Red) and its a stunning, true red that every girl needs. Im definitely going to purchase the other colours.
This was a full sized product for $14.99.

The next item was quite different. Its a pen like product with a felt tip that claims to correct makeup mistakes. I used it to correct my liquid eyeliner and it actually works. You have to draw over the area a few times to get the desired effect but it does its job nicely and makes cleaning up mascara dots on the eyelids soooo much easier!!
This was a full sized product for $11.99.

Following that I got a ASAP product. These seem to be quite frequent in my monthly boxes but I'm not complaining! I actually find that they are fantastic quality and do what they claim. This product was a tinted moisturiser, which to be honest I will probably never use. Not because its bad (its not bad at all!) but just because I generally use a heavier coverage foundation rather than a light tinted BB cream or moisturiser.
I got 5ml and a full size is 75ml for $45.

Next in the box was a SOS gel. Im not entirely sure what to use this on to be honest!! Perhaps redness on the face!? But it says to use when sensitive skin raises its emergency alarm and it provides a cool and soothing effect. I might try it on sunburn haha who knows!
I got 10ml and a full size is 50ml for $72.

Last but not least, this bad boy! I actually love this product!! It smells delicious and reminds me of summer so much! Its simply a moisturiser that can extend the life of your tan and keep your skin feeling lush and smooth. This brand seems to be making a bit of an impact because I've seen it around a lot. I may have to try out their fake tanners or something!
I got 30ml and a full size is 150ml for $27.50.

Bonus product!!!! Bump Eraser! This is a miracle! I had actually tried this prior to receiving it in my Bellabox and I believe it works. It prevents ingrown hairs from developing and if one is developing you place a tiny amount of this on and it'll be gone the next day! Win I say.. especially with summer around the corner!

Hope you enjoyed this review. For those of you interested in trying Bellabox for yourself (I highly recommend and love receiving a package every month full of goodies!) then click the link here.

Benefit Advent Calendar

I recently bought this Benefit advent calendar and oh my gawwddd, its amazing!!
I thought I'd share with you all the contents of the calendar so you can decide if you want it or not, but I can pretty much assure you that you'll be in love and heading out tomorrow to purchase!!
The idea is to buy it and then open each window on the countdown to Christmas but as if I could wait that long!! So you end up with 24 mini size items all from Benefit, which is amazing if you want to try them out before you purchase the full size.
This would be an amazing gift for someone for Christmas if they are into beauty products because you get an array of different things to try and who doesn't love anything in mini size, so CUTE!!
It retails for $100 and can be bought at all Benefit cosmetics counters (Myer, David Jones).

So if you're planning on buying this yourself and you want it to be a surprise, then stop reading now!

July Bellabox Review

Its that exciting time of month again!
Receiving my Bellabox in the mail is something I really look forward to and since you pay for the box at the very start of the month, by the time it gets shipped out and you receive it, it feels like everything is free! Every month's box is themed different and this month was 'Luxe Beauty Travel'. It really made me crave warmer weather and lust for a European adventure...a girl can dream!

So keeping with the Beauty Travel theme the first thing I was presented with in my Bellabox was this...

Although I'm not planing on heading to America any time soon (I wish i was though!!) this cardboard guide would be an essential if i was heading to LA. It is packed with options for restaurants, spas, bars and of course shopping. It is compact to fit in your handbag and is worded in such a quirky way that it's actually interesting to read!
Its valued at $12.99 and if i was actually heading to LA this would be extremely useful.
The next product I received was Biore` Deep Cleansing Pore Strips -
I actually already use these strips so its handy to have 2 free ones chucked in there. They are quick and easy to use but damn they can hurt to pull off sometimes!! Not sure if that's just me or not but I continue to use them so they can't be that bad!! You can buy 6 nose stripes for $6 in places like Coles.
For the face I also received LA Fresh Face Cleanser Wipes -
I find wipes like these really handy when I travel! It can be a pain trying to remove your makeup with just water and it never actually does the job! Maybe for one night you can get away with it but if you're heading on a holiday you want to be sure to clean your face properly every night! This little pack with 1 wipe would also be perfect for those long plane rides. You can purchase 20 of these for $16.50.
Another cleansing product was in this months Bellabox, but this time for the body.
This bar of soap is al natural!! It is a handcrafted soap which on side view has the appearance of honey...or hexagons that honey is made on! Not to sure how to explain it but it looks cool! As cool as this soap is, its useless for holidays! I hate the thought of carrying around a bar of soap while away on vacation. I'd much prefer to take a liquid pump but I will try this out in my shower at home! This soap retails for $3.49.
This next product is again a little bit pointless...
A skin moisturizing cream is useful but not in these quantities! This tiny little tube will be used up in 2 uses if put on the body! I'm still going to give this cream a go because it is claiming to be 'Japan's 55 year "Soft-Skin-Secret"'. I will instead use it in small concentrated areas of dry skin, like for example on my face, around my eyes and on my lips! That way I can get a few uses and see how it really performs. A full size is 70g and is sold for $35.
I was really excited about the next product!!!
Cheek and lip tints are one of those things that can be daunting at first but once you get the hang of it, its amazing!! Making sure you know how to blend out the product and you are sure to be left with a gorgeous, health flush of color to your lips or cheeks. I tried this on my lips and the color was a really deep, dark berry but when tested on my cheeks it was more of a bright, fresh berry! Either way it was a great product and since you only need a tiny amount, this tube will last a longgg time!
Full size is 10ml for $24.
Another awesome product this month was Libra Hotties Heat Patch -
This product was really exciting for me! Its something that I've never seen in shops before and could be quite useful. It claims to last for up to 8 hours and can get to a highest temperature of 50 degrees.
These can be bought at Coles, 2 for $5.
Last but not least....
Baby Foot - Now I was totally confused when I saw this in my Bellabox! It's a quite large item so I'm surprised it even fit in the box!! This is essentially a foot scrub, but inside a pair of socks! Weird I know! So you wet your feet, put them in the socks provided and wait 2 hours. The gel that is inside the socks is meant to exfoliate and remove any dead skin leaving you with, well, baby feet! I may use these closer to summer when my feet get a little more exposure but as far as I'm concerned $30 is ridiculous when the sand at the beach has the same effect! I guess i should wait and see if they are actually worth it, but I'm not trying these out anytime soon!!

Anyway we have come to an end of my Bellabox samples for July! This box was exciting and has exposed me to some products that I definitely wouldn't have bought myself or even knew existed!
All in all I think it is definitely worth $15 this month and I'm excited to continue experimenting with other products. Thanks for reading!
