Trend: Anorak

If your anything like me, in winter you'd much prefer to layer up your clothes and create a warm but stylish look for everyday wear rather than drowning yourself in the same big over sized trench coat day in, day out. This is where jackets like the Anorak come in!! They are perfect for those casual days out and can be layered up to create warmth. 

I love this particular one because the fabric is light weight and thin allowing for many extra layers underneath. The drawstring allows the jacket to be clenched around the waist making it more feminine and creating shape, this is perfect for all body types. 

Length is also an important factor when choosing an Anorak! Jackets that end at the hips create a longer frame and make you appear taller.

Being very versatile the Anorak is a key winter piece for 2013.

I received my first Bellabox today and i couldn't be more excited!!! 

Bellabox is an Australian monthly beauty subscription service that sends out 4-5 high-end cosmetic samples and beauty products to your door for just $15. It gives you the opportunity to experience new products that you usually wouldn't buy and if you love the product you can purchase it on their website!!

Overall I'm very happy with my first Bellabox! 

There is nothing in here that i won't try and in terms of value for money i think its great!! The box costs $15 and and that is made up by the price of the nail polish alone, therefore everything else is freeeee!

Leather Love

Recently I have been loving everything leather!! 

I believe that leather pieces are timeless and really are staples in everyones wardrobe, therefore when heading out yesterday night for my good friend Meg's birthday i opted for a leather skater skirt. I teamed it with a simple white cross over body suit and to add a hint of colour, red flat forms! 

Flat forms are a perfect shoe for a night out as they add height and interest to an outfit while being extremely comfortable at the same time. 

I kept accessories simple, adding my metallic Keepsake clutch.
